The atmosphere at Buca di Bepo is bright and cheerful, but also a bit PG13. For example, there were lts of naked people, and a peeing statue. We give the atmosphere a straight smile face.
Although our server messed up on the bill she was very friendly, patient, helpful and accomodating. We give the service a smiley face.
We enjoyed our meal. It started with cheesy bread that was soft and warm with crispy cheese and big pieces of garlic on top.
The salad got mixed reviews. The best part was the crispy prosciutto, and the crisp lettuce. The moms liked the gourmet olives. The alfredo pizza was very unusual because you don't always get potato chips, corn and chicken on your pizza. The crust was good, thin, and crunchy, but not burnt. The other margharite pizza was light and fresh, but didn't have a lot of cheese. Most of us were a little disappointed with the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were bland and juicy without a lot of flavor, but they wer humongous; 1/2 lb. each. The icecream came out on a fancy tray, but the portions left you wanting more. We can't complain though, it was free!
We give the meal a combo straight face and a smiley face.
